Doing what we can to ensure the safety of our clients and therapists is of the utmost importance. For this reason, and following a thorough risk assessment, we have the following COVID protocols in place:

  • Entrance to the therapy room will be via the garden gate and door, rather than the front door of the property. The garden area is already used for wheelchair access and provides a safe route direct to the therapy room.

Please ring the doorbell as normal(hand sanitizer is available) and I will greet you at the gate.

  • Bathroom facilities should only be used in an emergency. Should you wish to use the facilities, there are single use towels and hand soap. The washroom is disinfected with bleach after every use.

  • The armchair will be covered with a clean throw between each client to avoid any surface contamination.

  • A gap of one hour will be left between clients. The room will be aired between sessions and a handheld UV sanitizer wand is used to clean articles the therapist has touched.

  • It is a good idea to bring a face mask. I will be wearing one until guidance changes and will maintain a 2m distance when sitting talking to the client.

  • Clients may be asked for a temperature reading using a non-contact forehead thermometer on arrival. I will also share my own temperature reading to reassure you that I do not have a fever.

  • I cannot provide drinking water at present, so please do bring some with you if required.

  • Adults accompanying minors can be sat opposite the therapist at a distance of 2m. If weather allows, there are cleaned seats available on the patio directly outside of the therapy room that allow visibility.

  • Please pay by BACs where possible.

  • Zoom sessions are very effective, so please only consider using a physical appointment if absolutely necessary at the moment.

  • Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature, a cough or any other related symptoms. I will be very happy to rearrange your appointment if necessary. Similarly I may have to postpone sessions if I, or a member of my household, experience these symptoms. Safety is paramount.

Thank you for helping to maintain a very safe practice. If you have any concerns or queries, please don’t hesitate to ask.
